Baked Halibut Fillets
Ingredients:
2 lbs. Skinless Halibut Fillets
1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 Cup Butter (softened)
3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
3 Tbsp Chopped Green Onions
1/4 Tsp Salt
1-2 Splash of Hot Sauce
Optional Adds:
Bread Crumbles on Top
Salt & Pepper to Taste
Instructions:
Turn the oven onto high broil, rack in center
Cut the halibut fillets in equal thickness and remove all the skin and brown spots.
Brown spots seem to have a fishier taste.
Wash and dry the halibut fillets.
Spray nonstick oil on a baking dish, and place the halibut fillets in the dish.
Try to keep the halibut fillets from touching.
Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and set to the side.
Place your baking dish on the center rack for 8-10 minutes.
Once the halibut is flaking with a fork pour the mixture on top of the halibut.
Put back in the oven on broil for another 2-5 minutes.
Keep an eye on the fillets that they don’t burn.
Once the parmesan cheese gets that golden-brown color on top of the halibut, they are ready to serve!
