Elroy

co-FOUNDER / hype team

Born and raised in Idaho, Elroy grew up in the woods with a dirt bike and bow at the ready. Getting his first bow at 7 years old, he was destined to be obsessive about archery hunting. And having the opportunity to be a part of the annual family “elk camp” at such a young age, he soaked up everything he could from his father, an O.G. in the archery world, and the path was set!

Fast forward to 2015, Elroy moved to California for professional advancement. But it has turned into something much greater than that! He has been slowly building a crew of hunters and anglers in California equally as dedicated to the outdoor world. Whether it flies, runs, or swims, this team is in!

When Elroy is not hunting, he is preparing for it. Either by spending time at his local gym, putting miles on the running shoes, hiking local hills, pouring over maps, practicing his calling, shooting his bow, you name it! It's all for what lies ahead — Hunting Season.

Gabe

Co-FOUNDER / Captain america

Born and raised in Northern California. Hunting, fishing, sports and sharing the great outdoors with family and friends have always been deeply rooted passions for him. While his dream of playing professional baseball took him away from hunting for some time, he knew that he would return to the woods again. Eventually, Gabe was able to fulfill that lifelong dream of getting drafted and playing for the Kansas City Royals.

After his playing career ended, Gabe has filled the competitive void by dedicating himself to being the best conservationist that he can, striving for fitness in the form of Crossfit and preparing properly to be a hunter that leaves a positive mark in the woods.

Mike

Jack-of-all-trades / Research Department

Born and raised in N. California, Mike grew up loving every aspect of the outdoors.  From the age of six, he was always eager to follow his dad and grandfather on any and all hunting/fishing trips. Every summer growing up Mike and his dad would spend 9 days backpacking through the Sierras stopping at every fishable stream to wet the fly.

Between chasing pheasants in the tall grass, to freezing in hip deep water for a green head to come into range, from fishing The San Juan, to putting countless miles chasing deer and elk across The West. Labeling it as an obsession would be a disgrace.

Mike’s extensive knowledge soon transitioned to archery season; furthermore, chasing the bugles of September.  He is a nerd when it comes to gear, catching the moments on camera and places to hunt in The West.

Phillip

world traveler / Fly fishing AFICIONADO

Philip was raised on a cattle ranch in South Africa and picked up a passion for hunting early on from his dad.  Hunting was well and truly a part of the family tradition and way of life.

Realizing the potential of the abundance of wild game birds in the area, Philip’s dad opened up a bird shooting lodge in 1995. From there onward weekends and holidays were spent joining groups of hunters on waterfowl, upland, pigeon and plains game hunts.

Philip guided his first local client on a successful wildebeest hunt at age 13 and qualified as a Professional Hunter on his 21st birthday, the minimum age requirement.

When fate took him to California, in search of making his own mark on the world, the passion for hunting never faded. He is a student of the art of hunting and got to know the animals, their habits and habitat intimately. The approach paid off and he has since had a number of successful seasons of Western hunting behind him.

Ian

Graphic designer / shootist

Whelped and whipped in the Inland Northwest, Ian grew up hunting, fishing and Cowboy Action Shooting with his dad. He registered with SASS (Single Action Shooting Society #11388) in 1996 when he was 9 years old and hasn’t put down a pistol since. Crow Killer, as he’s known in the competitive scene, has won many state and local Cowboy Action Shooting matches and from age 14 to age 18 was the Washington State Junior-Male champion.

In addition, if you think you can outshoot him in the field, I wouldn’t recommend betting against him. His skills with a side-by-side coach carry over to upland game and if you’re not fast enough, he’ll shoot your pheasant out from under your nose.

His background in sociology and visual communication design, drove his ever curious mind to pursue more. Presently, Ian is attending graduate school for User Experience Design (UX Design) at Maryland Institute College of Art.

He is exceptionally skilled at:
1. Shooting
2. UX/UI & Graphic Design
3. Being ignored by women
